Bush Toys Workshop Saturday July 21st 1 - 4pm

Discover your creative, sculptural side, as you hand build with straw to create a colourful animal.
In this workshop you will learn how to
*create a base form with straw appropriate to your chosen animal
*divide the straw into the main features
*methods of wrapping with wool
*finish the details of your animal
The method of wrapping wool around straw to make a bush toy has been passed on by traditional indigenous fibre artist Bronwyn Razem from the Gunditjmara tribe, who has granted me permission to teach and share this art form. Please bring 2 balls of coloured wool.
